While sitting at the McDonald's Drive thru

I went to McDonald's to pick up a fizzy beverage, I just love them. Anyway, while waiting in the line at the drive thru window, I noticed a bunch of seagulls in a frenzy trying to eat some discarded french fries. My mind immediately thinks... "If the Seagulls lived on the beaches near Quirkyopolis, they could become Fry Cooks and enjoy the fries all day long."

For the entire drive home, I couldn't get the image out of my head. This seagull, wearing a fast food diner style hat, next to an order of fries. I came home and while enjoying my fizzy beverage, a new Quirky Island character was born. Sammy, the Seagull, who works at the Salty Sea Diner.

Can't wait to see him come to life! I've posted the beginning sketch and I'll post more pic's of his progress soon!
